here’s a post about some of the most interesting web-services, that i discovered that are new, or that i am using for quite a while now and i thought it was worth sharing them. so let’s go.
topicmarks
topicmarks is a tool that summarizes text documents. at the moment the service is only available for english texts. i tried it with some wikipedia sources and some of my own documents as well and i want to say that it works quite good. now, i am looking forward for german language support.
the health month
i already wrote about the health month in november. but again i’d like to mention the site, cause it is really helping you out with my good intentions of living healthier.
oh life
OhLife sends you an email every day and asks you one simple question. “how’d your day go?” by answering to this email you keep up with you personal journal on ohlife. you can write as much as you want. for me it mostly takes like 2 minutes and i resumed my whole day in a short note. i guess that’s pretty much it. a clever way for me to actually keep the goal of writing a diary ever day.
remember the milk
nothing new in general, but for me the most effective tool to keep in contact with all my todo’s these days. remember the milk is my #1 choice when it comes to todo-management. it is a simple browser based todo that also is pretty fast and super easy to handle.
focus booster
since i use the pomodoro technique to help me stay focused during the day, i also use focus booster, a simple but effective tool that shows the remaining time of your current session. i can recommend it.
