we are never really safe

right now this is the music apart from my band. much slower, more intimate, and very often just me and the guitar. while i’m working on some new stuff, you can download my first ep “monster” for free

afraid of heights

afraid of heights
this is my current band in berlin. catchy powerpop to sing along. summer 2009 our very first demo ep from the messages i’m writing you which you can download for free here. we also made an acoustic ep called any color but red ep. that was how things got started with the band. we have a beautiful bandwebsite and myspace, too. also you might want to follow us on twitter!

sohn von frank

sohn von frank was a songer/songwriter project i did in 2007. i tried a few things out with synthesizers and mididrums here.  it was one of my first attempts to write my lyrics in germain. i even managed to record “zwischen freunden, zwischen herzen, zwischen uns” an entire record with ten songs you can download here for free.

average joes

average joes are a skatepunk/indierock band from bochum. i was the singer of the band between 2005 and 2007 but had to quit when i moved to berlin. we’re still good friends and play music together from time to time. the band still exists with the leadguitarist singing. he creates a whole new sound with his charismatic voice. you really need to check them out on their myspace. though it is kinda different, here’s a song i was involved back then.

the good fight

the good fight was my first musical project from 2001-2007. i made two eps, here and there, and a full-length but i won’t give it away anymore. no way. as “the good fight” i played about 40 live shows in two years which i am kinda proud of because i did most of the shows solo. i’d love to keep up with that in the future with my new project “we are never really safe”

one lost summer

one lost summer was a screamo/emocore band from krefeld. boy, that was the music back than. emo in it’s second stage. do you remember the first taking back sunday, funeral for a friend or from first to last record? oh yes! we had black fingernails and hair. today i don’t even  have  hair :D. it was a good time. we parted in 2004. here’s a song you can hear me sing along.
